sore has appeared among the class of people (not necessarily poor) who, during a heavy rainy season, walked in mud and worked in marshy localities, barefooted. Forty-five inches of rain, mud and marshy conditions?and Naga sore were not previously known to this place. The same thing happened in Benares last summer, when heavy rainfall flooded the area, resulting in mud and marsh so that Naga sore broke out in epidemic form.
